The Chelsea 282GMAJX-V3XD or 282GMAJXV3XD is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off assembly from the Chelsea 282 Series, designed for demanding continuous-duty applications. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) engagement. The output shaft is a 1-1/4" round with a 5/16" key, rated for intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft. Shaft power output reaches 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmission manufacturers include Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and others. Common applications span aerial equipment, towing and recovery, construction, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery. Call us to confirm proper fit for your specific transmission and application.
