The Chelsea 897 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 897EDFJW-M5XS or 897EDFJWM5XS, is a constant-mesh PTO engineered specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. The 10-bolt mounting and extended one-piece main shaft move the pump interface to the rear of the transmission, tucking the housing tightly against the case to maximize clearance between the pump and the frame rail. The SAE C output flange pairs with Wet Spline technology to reduce wear on the pump shaft in demanding, continuous-duty cycles. Continuous torque is rated up to 670 ft-lb (908 Nm); intermittent torque exceeds 501 ft-lb. Output power at 1,000 RPM reaches 128 HP.
