The Chelsea 221XCAJX-W5XD or 221XCAJXW5XD is a 6-bolt Power Take-Off assembly from the Chelsea 221 Series, designed for low-speed, heavy-duty service on dump trucks, tow and recovery vehicles, aerial equipment, and vocational trucks. It uses a wire/cable mechanical shift and delivers up to 250 lb-ft (339 Nm) intermittent torque, with shaft power of 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with keyway fits a range of pump configurations. Compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Hino, and Volvo/Mack transmissions. The cast iron housing carries tapered cone output bearings for load capacity beyond what needle bearings provide, and pump shafts are greaseable to limit spline fretting and corrosion.
