The Chelsea 897 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 897LDFJW-M5XK or 897LDFJWM5XK, is a constant-engagement PTO designed specifically for Allison 3000 and 4000 Series transmissions. Its 10-bolt mounting and one-piece main shaft move the pump interface to the rear of the transmission, tucking the housing and gear section tightly against the transmission for improved clearance between the PTO and the frame rail. Continuous-duty torque capability reaches 670 ft-lb (908 Nm), with intermittent ratings starting above 501 ft-lb. Output is SAE C flange with a wet-spline shaft that extends pump spline life under demanding duty cycles. Shaft power runs from 64 HP at 500 RPM to 128 HP at 1,000 RPM.
