The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XXITX-H3XD or 489XXITXH3XD, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt mounting aperture, including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec. The one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the 8-bolt transmission opening, eliminating the adapter plate and its associated leak paths. The 489 Series delivers intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range and output power of 46-55 HP, with shaft power rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1000 RPM. The 1-1/4" round output shaft with key accommodates a wide range of driven accessories. Internal parts are common to the Chelsea 442 Series, keeping service parts straightforward.
