The Muncie FA6B-I8406-B3BX or FA6BI8406B3BX is a 6-bolt clutch shift power take-off from Muncie's FA6B Series, designed specifically for Allison and Aisin 6-bolt transmissions. The angular housing moves the output shaft below common chassis obstructions, making it suitable for both drive shaft and direct-mount pump installations. This unit uses the "B" output configuration: a 1.25-inch round shaft with a 5/16-inch key. Engagement is solenoid-activated, eliminating gear clash at shift. The pre-configured wiring harness simplifies installation. Rated at a 0.6 speed ratio and a maximum output speed of 2,500 RPM, with intermittent torque of 86 lb-ft and continuous torque of 235 lb-ft at standard application.
