The Muncie CS40-A1007-H1ZX or CS40A1007H1ZX is a 10-bolt heavy-duty clutch shift power take-off from Muncie's CS40/41 Series, designed to deliver maximum power output from Allison 3000 and 4000 series and Caterpillar CX transmissions. The unit features precision ground gears for quiet operation under high torque loads, oversized bearings, and standard pressure lubrication at no extra cost. A 1410 series remote mount output shaft accommodates remote pump drives, while S.A.E. "C" and DIN 5462 direct mount flanges fit most pumps requiring high power input. Rotatable direct mount flanges let you position the pump for maximum clearance, and two assembly arrangements allow mounting shaft-high or shaft-low on either side of the transmission. For fire pump applications, maximum output speed is 4,000 RPM. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
