The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871XDFJP-H5XV or 871XDFJPH5XV, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic) PTO engineered for Allison transmissions. The series delivers continuous torque capacity up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous-duty applications. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options cover a wide range of work-truck configurations, from fire and rescue to refuse and truck crane installations. A ductile iron bearing cap rated 117% stronger than gray iron, combined with an o-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap, addresses vibrational stress from modern engine designs. Optional Wet Spline pump flange, SmartStart shock-load reduction, Quiet Gear input, and Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) are available within this series.
