The Chelsea 282XSDAX-V5XD or 282XSDAXV5XD is an 8-bolt, medium-duty hot-shift power take-off assembly from Parker Chelsea's 282 Series. It accepts pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation and carries a 1-1/4" round output shaft with a 5/16" key. The 282 Series delivers continuous torque up to 300 lb-ft and intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft range, with shaft power rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. An integral air valve and rotatable flanges are built in. The optional Smart Start feature supports high-torque engagement, and a wet-spline option extends PTO and pump shaft service life. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and other makes. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
