The Chelsea 249XMLLX-B4AD or 249XMLLXB4AD is a 249 Series Power Take-Off designed for the Ford 6R140 TorqShift 6 automatic transmission, fitting both 2WD and 4WD applications. This series carries a 200 lb-ft intermittent torque rating and uses a 6-bolt Ford mounting pattern. Shift actuation is hydraulic, and the single-hose connection with integrated cartridge valve simplifies installation and reduces potential leak paths. The 249 Series is the only PTO in its class to incorporate Chelsea's patented noise-suppression system for the Ford Super Duty TorqShift 6, making it well-suited for service trucks, aerial, tow and recovery, fire and rescue, and small dump truck applications.
