The Chelsea 890 Series Power Take-Off (PTO) part number 890XDFJW-D5XY or 890XDFJWD5XY is a hydraulic hot-shift PTO engineered specifically for Allison 3000 MD and 4000 HD Series transmissions. It mounts via a 10-bolt pattern and uses a Hydraulic PowerShift engagement. The SAE C ("XS") output shaft incorporates Wet Spline Technology to extend PTO and pump shaft life under demanding duty cycles. Continuous-duty torque is rated up to 670 ft-lbs, with intermittent torque exceeding 501 ft-lbs. Shaft power reaches 64 HP at 500 RPM and 128 HP at 1,000 RPM. The one-piece main shaft eliminates input splines between the PTO and output extension, and the rear-mounted clutch tucks the housing tightly against the transmission for improved pump clearance.
