The Chelsea 282XKAJX-V3XD or 282XKAJXV3XD is an 8-bolt, medium-duty hot shift PTO assembly from the Chelsea 282 Series. It supports both pneumatic and PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic) actuation, giving fleets flexibility in how they configure shift controls. The 1-1/4" round output shaft accepts a 5/16" key and delivers up to 300 lb-ft of continuous torque, with intermittent ratings in the 201-300 lb-ft range. Shaft power output is rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Compatible transmissions include Allison, Volvo/Mack, Eaton/Fuller, and other specified units. The 282 Series sees regular use in aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water truck, and fuel oil delivery applications. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
