The Eaton Detroit Locker 225S14 (also sold as ED225S14) is a locking differential built for Dana 70 axle assemblies. It accepts a 1.5 in axle shaft diameter with a 23-spline tooth count and a 10.5 in ring gear, making it compatible across all available gear ratios for this axle family. Applications span front and rear axle positions on Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, and Ford vehicles - including half-ton, three-quarter-ton, and one-ton trucks, wagons, vans, cab-and-chassis units, and motor homes through model years 1972 and 1974. The No-SPIN locking design delivers consistent, automatic torque transfer to both axle shafts, suited for rock crawling, drag racing, towing, and street use.
