The Muncie RS6S-P89M3-P1DX or RS6SP89M3P1DX is a rear-mounted power take-off built specifically for Detroit DT12 transmissions in Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star 5700 Class 8 trucks. It features a solenoid-activated mechanical shift and is available with direct mount or companion flange output options, giving upfitters flexibility when specifying hydraulic pump installations. The unit takes advantage of the full torque capacity of the DT12 transmission and supports larger pumps without an additional bracket, subject to a bending moment limit of 29.5 ft.lb. maximum.
