The Muncie RS6S-P89M2-P1DX is a solenoid-activated mechanical-shift PTO designed specifically for the Detroit DT12 automated transmission. It carries a 1.32 internal gear ratio and is rated for up to 317 lb-ft (430 Nm) of torque and 60 HP (45 kW) at 1,000 RPM. Output options include an SAE "BB" direct mount or a 1410 companion flange. The unit is engineered to take full advantage of the DT12's torque capacity, and its output design accommodates larger hydraulic pumps without an additional support bracket, subject to a bending moment limit of 29.5 ft-lb maximum.
