The Fabco TC237HD is a two-speed, three-shaft, constant-mesh transfer case built around a declutch mechanism for front axle and under-drive engagement. Fabco part number 873-2144-004 or 8732144004. Rated at 6,000 lb-ft input torque, 350 HP, and 3,500 RPM input speed. Gear ratios are 1:1 High and 2.22:1 Low, using helical and spur gearing. The aluminum housing rides on tapered roller bearings and shifts via an integral air cylinder. Input and rear output shafts measure 1.95 inches with a 38-involute spline; the front output is 2.25 inches with a 10-parallel spline. Shaft drop spacing is 12.00 inches to both rear and front outputs.
